A little about Dora

My journey into the field of nutrition began with a deep-rooted passion for caring for others. For many years, I worked as a child care provider—supporting families, nurturing children, and creating environments where growth and well-being could thrive. It was in those early years, helping shape healthy habits and witnessing the vital role nutrition played in development and daily life, that I felt called to expand my impact.

That path led me to the field of dietetics, where I could combine my compassion for people with evidence-based knowledge to support individuals of all ages in achieving better health through food. I’m currently completing my dietetic internship, the final step toward becoming a Registered Dietitian—a credential that reflects advanced training in clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and evidence-based practice.

Alongside my professional training, I also bring the perspective of someone who lives with and manages diabetes every day. This lived experience allows me to approach my work with deeper empathy, practical insight, and a strong belief in the power of realistic, sustainable nutrition.

Whether I'm working with individuals, groups, or communities, my approach is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment. I believe that nutrition should be accessible, personalized, and flexible—and that every step forward, no matter how small, matters.
